About Me

Jamie Pate graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Fine Art and concentration on Illustration. After moving to Chicago, he unexpectedly traded his pencils for brushes. Jamie now resides in Lombard, IL , with his wife Karen and dog Cali. He continues to uncover creative roots through painting

 Jamie works primarily with oils using palette knifes and blending techniques to create visual experiences. He draws inspiration from the styles of Mark Rothko and Abstract Expressionism.
